Interests
Snowshoeing and hiking
Rocky Mountain National Park and Cameron Pass have world-class
snowshoeing and hiking trails.

RV camping
Well, some people would say that camping in a motor home is not camping, but Karen and I enjoy the mountain lakes with our sea kayaks and the comfort of the motor home.

Sea Kayaking
Here's Karen's picture of Gordon in the early morning drinking his coffee at Pearl Lake north of Steamboat Springs.
Digital photography
Ahh, the years working on HP's flagship R-series cameras fed into my long-term interest in photography. Combined with snowshoeing and camping, Karen and I have snagged some great outdoor pictures.
Gardening
This year I added about 80 perennials, and the backyard pond is getting to where I want it after 3 years of fiddling with it.

Road bicycling/touring
July 1994 was the ultimate tour. 550 miles in 4 days with two other guys, starting in Fort Collins, then to Granby, Leadville, Steamboat Springs, and back to Fort Collins. Here's Rick, Gordon, and Joel at the top of Loveland Pass.
Home theatre and audio
The Nuttall home theatre now consists of a Mitsubishi HC5500 1080p projector, Sony STR-DG500 A/V receiver, BK Components ST140 amp, Behringer DSP 8024, Sony PS3 (with BlueRay), SVSound 2039PCi subwoofer (18Hz output that truely rumbles), SVSound SCS-01 mains, and Cambridge SoundWorks center and surround speakers. The Planet Earth BDs are inspiring.
