Bio

Gordon NuttallI was born in Denver and grew up in the Littleton/Englewood area south of Denver, attending Cherry Creek High school.

Upon recommendation from my high school electronics teacher and invitation from CU, I entered the engineering program at the University of Colorado - Boulder, graduating with a 3.6 GPA. A full-tuition scholarship and summer-time construction jobs paid for my college.

I have two children, Megan and Jennifer, and 4 step-children.

My wife Karen teaches music to grades K-6 at Timnath Elementary. She is the director for the Bel Canto choir in Fort Collin's Centennial Children's Chorus, and has a piano studio in our home with private students using the Suzuki method.

Throughout my career at HP, I had been an maverick and innovator.  One known for creativity, new product ideas, a customer focus, out-of-box thinking, and the one who will step in to take on the toughest challenges without knowing definitively how to get from here to there (because it had never been done before).  It was a career phase with many honors, product successes, and camaraderie.  The Experience page shows that role played out over the years.
